Owl Events creates and delivers live events, fan zones, festival experiences, equipment hire and related event services in Guernsey.
We are responsible for deciding how personal information collected through our website, bookings, enquiries and events is used.

We may collect personal information when you use our website, contact us, make a booking, buy tickets, sign up for updates, hire equipment or attend one of our events.

Our website is hosted on Wix, so information submitted through the website may be processed through Wix systems. Ticketing and some payments may be handled by third-party providers including Eventbrite and SumUp.

10. Under-18s
Some of our events may be attended by under-18s, and under-18s may be included in ticket bookings, table bookings, hire enquiries or event enquiries.
Where information relates to under-18s, we will only use it where necessary for the booking, event operation, safety, safeguarding, legal compliance or customer service.
Where appropriate, we may require a parent, guardian or responsible adult to provide or confirm information.


11. How long we keep information
We only keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary.
As a general guide:

  • enquiry records may be kept for up to 2 years;

  • booking, hire, ticketing and payment records may be kept for up to 7 years for accounting, legal and insurance reasons;

  • marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it;

  • incident, safety, safeguarding or insurance-related records may be kept for longer where necessary;

  • event photography and video may be kept and used for promotional purposes unless you make a reasonable objection and we are able to remove or avoid using it.

We do not currently use advertising tracking pixels or analytics tools such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or Google Analytics.
Our website is hosted on Wix, which may use essential cookies or similar technologies to operate the website properly. If we introduce analytics, advertising cookies or tracking tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.
13. International transfers
Some of our service providers, including website, ticketing or payment providers, may process information outside Guernsey. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards, terms and protections used by those providers and take reasonable steps to ensure personal information is protected.
